Black Women Knit Print

Illustrated by Black artist Ashley Johnson, “Black Women Knit, Lena #3” is part of a larger collection, “Black Women Do Stuff.” Disappointed by the lack of black female representation in depictions of stereotypically White activities and spaces, the artist created her own illustrations showing that Black women DO knit, hike, do yoga, make candles, and more.
