I’ve been using the image of the raised fist holding a yarn ball for more than 2.5 years now. It was a visceral, gut reaction to American politics. Now, as the crafting community continues the conversation that was started in January, I felt like the image needed an update. My original thought was of unity in the face of oppression. Unity in resistance. Unity in support of marginalized folx.
I still feel like the image represents all of those ideas, but now, more than ever, I want to be explicit. Our community cannot achieve unity without reckoning with the ideas I originally tried to express. There is no community without UNITY.
Graphic is printed on a long-sleeved, unisex, tri-blend hoodie (50% polyester/25% combed ringspun cotton/25% rayon). The fabric is incredibly soft with great drape, stretch and recovery. They are preshrunk and the size chart is pictured.
