Saturday’s classes include ice dyeing, ecoprinting with botanicals, and tapestry weaving with yarn, fiber, and foraged plant matter. You’ll also have plenty of time to work on your friendship bracelets, potholder looms, WIPS, or the large scale camp tapestry loom. We’ll wrap things up on Sunday, learning about traditional Korean sewing to make bojagi mobiles using silk organza and ramie fabric.. All materials are included, as well as lodging and meals. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eWe'll be staying at the \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.bluemtnretreat.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"\u003eBlue Mountain Retreat Center\u003c\/a\u003e in Knoxville, MD, about 1 hour from Baltimore,MD and Washington, DC. The center is located on 27 acres of mostly wooded land in the Blue Ridge Mountains. You'll have the option of foraging around the property for your botanical dyeing and tapestries. Lodging is dormitory style with primarily shared rooms. Please note if you require a single room.
