We look forward to the New York Sheep & Wool Festival at Rhinebeck every year, and we're so sad we won't be welcoming you to our booth in person. But that won't stop us from bring a little bit of Baltimore to you!
Introducing Motor House: this year's Rhinebeck limited edition color. Named for a shared arts space on North Ave, Motor House has a cool gray base with a medley of eye-popping speckles, inspired by our city's love of graffiti and public art. In fact, Motor House sits in front of Graffiti Alley, a popular spot for street artists from all over town. We love this block so much that it's a featured location in our Transitions Lookbook, and now we can share it with yarn-lovers no matter how far away.
Your yarn will be dyed to order. Please allow 1-2 weeks for fulfillment.
Studio DK is now GOTS-certified organic! This springy, 3-ply yarn is still just as versatile and vibrant as ever, but we’re no longer using the traditional superwash process, which relies on harsh chemicals to make the yarn machine-washable. Instead, our wool is minimally processed to be environmentally friendly and even softer than before.
Subtle color variations are achieved through kettle dyeing.

A note about speckles: Each skein is individually dyed, so while these pictures are representative of the color, your skein will not look exactly like the pictures. Each and every skein is truly unique!
Machine wash on gentle cycle or hand wash using mild soap. Lay flat to dry. We recommend washing with Eucalan as other brands of wool wash have had adverse effects on our yarn.
