Join Tim Eads and learn to use power tufting machines to create rugs by hand. During this 6-hour class, Tim will cover the basics of setting up the backing cloth and frame, and threading and working the tufting machines. You will begin creating your own 22" x 22" rug, pillow, or wall-hanging design, and in addition, learn how to cut, glue, and finish a rug for use on the floor, as fabric, or as a wall hanging.
The workshop cost includes a materials fee of $75 for the tufting frame, cloth and yarn. The use of the tufting machines during the workshop is included, therefore you do not need to bring your own in order to take the class.
Tufting machines and additional supplies will be available for purchase at a discounted price during the workshop.
