Leakin Park Polwarth Roving

Leakin Park is a special, limited edition colorway to celebrate the 48th Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival. While this year's festival will be virtual again, we wanted to capture the experience of a beautiful May day spent outdoors.

Leakin Park is a Baltimore National Heritage Area, and is the largest woodland park in any East Coast City. With gorgeous trails and important waterways like the Gwynns Falls, Leakin Park has been a natural haven for Baltimoreans for over 100 years. This colorway evokes the deep pinks of seasonal blooms like weeping redbud, crape myrtle, and pawpaw blossoms.

Available for dye-to-order until Sunday, May 9 at 11:59 pm.

We have heard your pleas for spinning fiber! Each 4 oz braid is carefully dyed and braided by hand.

Contains 100% Polwarth Wool

Care instructions:
We recommend washing with Eucalan in cool water, as other brands of wool wash have had adverse affects on our yarn. Lay flat to dry.
