Welcome our newest yarn base: a sumptuous blend of baby Suri alpaca, Merino wool, and silk. Suri Loft is an opulent yarn that's stunningly soft on the skin, and gives our vibrant roster of colors a saturated, watercolor appearance. With a delicate core surrounded by clouds of Peruvian alpaca fiber, Suri Loft can be treated as a fingering weight, or knit or crocheted up on larger needle and hook sizes for quick projects--especially if held double with another of your favorite Neighborhood Fiber Co. bases.
Subtle color variations are achieved through kettle dyeing.
65% Suri alpaca, 20% Merino wool, 15% silk

A note about speckles: Each skein is individually dyed, so while these pictures are representative of the color, your skein will not look exactly like the pictures. Each and every skein is truly unique!
Care instructions:
We recommend hand washing with Eucalan in cool water, as other brands of wool wash have had adverse effects on our yarn. Lay flat to dry.
